Welcome to Napperby Primary School

Principal Robyn with two girls

Our site vision is ‘A Community of Learners Growing Together’. At Napperby we are committed to providing everyone in our school community with the opportunity to develop their academic, social and emotional skills to become successful lifelong learners. We aim to create a quality learning and teaching environment underpinned by our learner qualities of respect, responsibility, confidence and persistence.

Napperby is the only school in the Pirie Partnership with a school based preschool. This provides our preschool students with a unique opportunity for a seamless transition to primary school. The primary and preschool work closely with each other to ensure every child has the best start to their time at school.

The site offers a free playgroup every Friday from 9:30am until 11:30am. We love having new families come to visit us and to have some fun. Attending playgroup is a fantastic way to familiarise children with the preschool. Everyone is always welcome to come along and let your little ones have a play and connect with other families.

At Napperby we welcome and encourage parent/caregiver input. We have a strong Governing Council who work with staff and families to constantly improve the learning and physical environment.
The Site Improvement Plan and Preschool Quality Improvement Plan drives the academic direction of the school. Our main priorities are improving student’s literacy and numeracy skills.
Student leadership is elected at the start of every year. The SRC play an active role in the organisation of assemblies, special events and the newsletter. Student voice is a priority at Napperby.
I hope you and your child/ren enjoy your time at Napperby Primary School and I look forward to working with you to ensure the best possible learning outcomes for them.
